Academic Integrity Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
At Prashas Research Consulting Pvt. Ltd. ("Prashas", "we", "us"), academic integrity is central to everything we do. This policy sets out clearly what our services include, and what they deliberately exclude, so that every scholar we work with understands the ethical boundaries of our engagement.
1. Our Commitment
We are an educational advisory and mentorship organisation. Our role is to guide, coach, and support scholars in navigating their own academic journey — not to produce academic work on their behalf or to influence institutional decisions improperly.
2. What We Do
- Guidance on shortlisting universities and understanding eligibility/admission processes
- Mentorship on identifying research gaps and structuring a research proposal
- Coaching for entrance interviews and panel discussions
- Advisory support on academic writing standards, research ethics, and journal selection
- General mentorship on research methodology and academic skill development
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not write, ghostwrite, or complete theses, dissertations, research papers, or assignments on behalf of any scholar.
- We do not guarantee admission to any university or program.
- We do not guarantee acceptance or publication in any journal.
- We do not issue, arrange, or facilitate degrees, certificates, or credentials of any kind.
- We do not assist with plagiarism, data fabrication, contract cheating, or any form of academic dishonesty.
- We do not purchase, sell, or broker research papers, theses, or publications.
4. Scholar's Responsibility
All academic work — including research, writing, data analysis, submissions, and final decisions — remains the sole responsibility of the scholar and the relevant university or institution. Prashas's role is limited to advisory guidance; we are not a substitute for a scholar's own academic effort or an institution's formal evaluation process.
5. Confidentiality & Ethical Conduct
We handle all client information and research discussions with appropriate confidentiality, and our advisors are expected to maintain professional and ethical conduct at all times, consistent with recognised standards of academic mentorship.
6. Reporting Concerns
If you believe any communication from Prashas has suggested an unethical practice, or if you have concerns about the conduct of our team, please report it immediately using the contact details below. We take such concerns seriously and will investigate promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Academic Integrity Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
